Hi, I am

Dr. Sambid Wasti

Post-doc researcher, scientist, astrophysicis, …

I am a post-doc researcher at CUA working at NASA-Goddard via CRESST II. I am an experimental physicist and currently working on a Compton Pair (ComPair) instrument. ComPair is a balloon borne prototype instrument for medium range gamma-ray energy (MEV). My work includes hardware, software and data analysis. I am fascinated by technology, its rapid growth and the astronomical amount of future projects. In my spare time, I am learning new softwares, tools, codes and educating myself in technology. In my spare time I enjoy learning about philosophy and psychology. In the past decade or so, I have been mesmerized by the integration of psychology with technology. It is enchanting to think about the existential and quintessential questions it constantly poses to the nature of our reality.
